Outraged!

Okay, this may not have anything to do with eating specifically, but I do believe it falls under "living consciously" and is a relevant topic.

Q.) Isn't it politically incorrect to wear fur?
A.) Actually it's the opposite, wearing FUR IS GREEN!

Fur is a truly sustainable and renewable natural resource. Furriers, whether trappers or farmers, have the highest level of respect for both their animals and the land. To harm either, would be to harm themselves.

Also consider… a recent study of consequences from various textiles on the environment was undertaken at Oregon State University . The study included methods to obtain, process, fabricate, maintain and dispose of a broad range of textiles including wool, leather, fur, cotton, silk, linen, rayon, polyester, nylon and acrylic (fake fur is made from nylons and acrylics) were evaluated across a number of environmental variables. In composite scoring across all environmental criteria, the farmed and wild fur outperformed ALL other textiles for Environmental Compatibility.

ARE THESE FOOLS SERIOUS??? PEOPLE CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SHIT, CAN THEY?!

Let's take a lesson from Martha and find out the TRUTH about fur:

  1. Yikes. First of all, that is a load of crock saying that fur people have the highest respect for the land and animals. Are they serious? I wonder if people reading that actually truly believe that or it's just something to justify themselves with but in the back of their minds they realize it's total BS.

Secondly, they make no reference to their studies about how environmentally friendly it is or isn't. I imagine that if such a study exists, the real data shows the opposite of what they're saying if you really look at it closely and scrutinize the data.

A fur company saying that fur is not cruel and is good for the environment, what a surprise...

  2. I'd like to say, "Unbelievable!" but know better. Shameful, for sure. The Martha bit is an effective one too bad the only people that will watch it will be those that already agree with it.
